Highgate/Trust Hospitality will be the operator and management team for the resort when open. Highgate is a global hotel operator which operates resorts on behalf of the world’s leading full-service hotel brands including Hyatt, Marriott and Hilton. They also have an in-house team of development experts who provide planning and implementation support for resort development projects.
Highgate is a global hotel operator with the majority of its hotels and resorts in North America and an expanding presence in Latin America and the Caribbean. Highgate currently manages over 160 hotels totaling approximately 45,000 rooms spread across a diverse portfolio of resort types.
In 2020, Highgate completed the acquisition of Trust Hospitality who have, to date, provided guidance and advice on the project including the planning of the operations of the resort and the forecasting of its future operational requirements and its future financial performance. Trust Hospitality have over 25 years of experience in managing branded hotels and have considerable experience in the Caribbean – including on the island of Great Exuma.
